Terms &
Conditions.

The official rules for using TapLineup. Thankfully, they are shorter than a rain delay.

Effective September 25, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TapLineup mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who May Use TapLineup

TapLineup is designed for coaches, parents, and adult team organizers. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use TapLineup only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 may not create TapLineup accounts.

2. Accounts and Security

You agree to provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for managing access granted to viewers and nearby devices.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use TapLineup to manage teams, rosters, batting orders, defensive lineups, games, and approved viewer updates. You may not:

4. Team and Player Information

You retain ownership of roster and lineup information you enter. You grant TapLineup a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that information only as needed to operate and improve the Services for you and the viewers you authorize. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to enter and share player information, particularly information about youth players. Do not enter medical, financial, government identification, or other sensitive information TapLineup does not request.

5. Sharing and Nearby Dugout

TapLineup lets coaches share approved lineup information with invited viewers and privately paired Nearby Dugout devices. You are responsible for choosing recipients, removing access when it is no longer appropriate, and checking the current lineup before relying on it. Nearby Dugout availability depends on compatible devices, proximity, local connectivity, permissions, and both devices running TapLineup.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

TapLineup may offer free and paid features. Monthly and annual Premium subscriptions are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. The applicable store displays the price and billing period before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. Your store account is charged according to its terms, and the store manages cancellation, renewal, taxes, and refunds. Deleting TapLineup or your TapLineup account does not automatically cancel an active store subscription.

7. TapLineup Intellectual Property

The Services, including the TapLineup name, branding, software, design, and original content, are owned by TapLineup or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Services; they do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including Apple, Google, authentication providers, and hosting providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services. TapLineup is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Service Changes and Availability

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of TapLineup. We work to keep the Services reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of any feature, or compatibility with every device, league rule, or network.

10. Coaching Decisions and Disclaimers

TapLineup is an organizational tool, not a medical, emergency, safeguarding, officiating, or official league-record system. Coaches remain responsible for player welfare, supervision, league compliance, and all lineup decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapLineup and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or related to the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using TapLineup at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, comply with law, address non-payment, or respond to a material violation of these Terms. Account deletion is available in the App and through our account deletion page.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as TapLineup changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required by law. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.

14. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable app-store terms form the entire agreement concerning the Services.
